Why Recycle?
In Hindu mythology, celebration of Diwali is often associated with the worship of Goddess Lakshmi, the harbinger of wealth & prosperity. The Lakshmi Puran tells us what actions would please the Goddess to welcome Her home and what would cause Her to abandon you.

One very strong and repeated advice in the Puran is about not wasting food, money or resources. Every piece of matter can be put to some purpose and is to be respectfully used or recycled. This invites prosperity to one's household.

With or without the Puran, we all know respect for nature's energy & resource can lead to less plunder, more re-use, and more LOVE back from Mother Nature, leading to prosperity - be it for a person, company or nation!
