Face Malai in the Making
Where Ritual Meets Rejuvenation
By Nat Habit
In a world chasing surface-level fixes and synthetic shortcuts, Face Malai is a return — to what skin truly understands.
Nutrients. Lipids. Hydration that doesn’t sit on top, but sinks deep.
It’s not a cream. It’s a four-step ritual — rooted in ancient Ayurvedic preparation and powered by modern skin science.
Fresh-made. Skin-smart. Deeply nourishing.
Step 1: Dhaut Ghrit
The Ghee That Becomes Skin Food

It begins with Desi Cow Ghee—washed over 100 times with raw milk in copper vessels, following the Ayurvedic ritual of Dhaut Ghrit. But beneath the tradition lies deep biochemistry. The washing triggers hydrolysis, breaking triglycerides into smaller fatty acids that mimic the skin’s own lipid structures. Copper ions released during the process act as enzymatic catalysts, enhancing antioxidant action and antimicrobial defense. The result is a feather-light, amphiphilic emollient—capable of penetrating all 7 layers of the skin. It hydrates, strengthens the barrier, and supports collagen—all without clogging or heaviness. This is skin’s primal nutrition, made dermal-ready.
Step 2: Pulps & Juices
Hydration Meets Enzymatic Energy

Then, fresh raw fruit pulps, juices, and aloe vera gels are carefully bio-activated - a process that enhances their natural vitamins, hydration factors, and phyto-constituents to turn them into functional, skin-compatible actives. Malic acid and vitamin C from green apple gently exfoliate and brighten. Lycopene from tomato helps defend against UV damage. Aloe vera delivers mucopolysaccharides and growth factors that support - calming, energizing, and visibly illuminating the skin.
Step 3: Ayurvedic Decoction
Deep Tissue Detoxification

A controlled decoction of potent Ayurvedic herbs like Nagakesar, Nutmeg, Flaxseed and 15-20 more herbs is prepared. This is where the magic of rare herbs unfolds to extract their actives like tannins, alkaloids, and glycosides—which go beyond surface-level effects to deeply nourish the skin. This decoction infuses the Face Malai with properties that improve microcirculation, reinforce antioxidants, and reduce trans-epidermal inflammation. It acts as an internal booster for skin repair—regulating pigmentation, calming dermal stress, and creating a foundation for lasting skin health.
Step 4: Whipped Oils
Locking It In, Lightly
The final step is adding cold-pressed, anti-aging oils like Rosehip, Jojoba, and Almond. These oils, selected for their compatibility with the skin's natural sebum composition, are not just blended; they are molecularly emulsified through a whipping process. This creates micro-droplets that mimic the lamellar structure of the skin’s stratum corneum—allowing for optimal hydration and protection. What emerges is our signature whipped Malai texture—airy, non-sticky, yet powerfully nourishing.
Why We Make It This Way

Because skin doesn’t just want more—it wants what’s been missing: aligned hydration, functional lipids, enzymatic awakening, and bioactive antioxidants it can truly absorb and use.
And skin doesn’t need the same thing every day. It shifts with age, climate, and life stage. That’s why Face Malai is formulated specifically for - cooling in summer, reparative in winter, deeply replenishing from 30s through 50s and beyond.
Made fresh daily.
So every bottle carries alive, active nutrients — not preservatives.
Not just a cream. A daily ritual of skin awakening—powered by copper, ghee, milk, fruits, herbs and oils.
